4 Ways you can heal your business with Louise Hay
Dear Lovely Business Owner,
This week saw the passing of the wonderful Louise Hay, who was a visionary leader in the personal development business. One of her first books, was called: “You can heal your life,’ and it was one of the very first books I read in this area, whilst studying for my first healing qualification in Reiki, after being inspired by my dad.
What I loved about Louise, is how she shared so personally her story of childhood abuse and how she had found the courage and the tools to work through it, I loved how she not only used the power of her mind to change her perspective, but I loved how she connected each part of the body with a different condition and how accurate her description was. It amazed me it still does, to be quite honest.
For me, I see your business and your life as interchangeable, as I do not separate them and view them together and holistically. So, in this post I will be look how you can heal your business with the help of the late lovely Louise Hay, through her wisdom.
- “Remember, you have been criticizing yourself for year and it hasn’t worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens.” Louise L .Hay. In business it can be easy to criticise yourself instead of approving of yourself, I know this to be true for myself.
For example: I have recently been criticising myself for not blogging enough and guess what all that happened was that it caused me to just not blog enough even more, and caused me to procrastinate even further.
Whilst over the last few days something shifted as I started to approve of myself, whether I blogged or not and all of a sudden I have been on a roll with my blogging and people are coming forward to work with me; as if by magic. Try it out and let me know how you get on 🙂

.2. ‘The more gratitude I feel, the more I am aware that the supply is endless,” Louise Hay. This is a powerful affirmation to use in your business for all aspects, from feeling grateful for a simple retweet, to a new sign up to your list, to a comment on your blog, to a new client, to a new invitation to guest blog for someone.
The more you can feel, really deeply feel gratitude, even for things you would rather not experience such as being criticised by someone, or having to sort out an unpleasant situation which you are sorry about; instead of moaning about it by being grateful for the lessons learned you will be able to move through it and attract someone even better and it will be healing for your business and indeed yourself.
3 ” I monitor my self-talk making sure it is supportive to myself and others. ” Louise Hay. This is healing for your business because sometimes; especially when things do not go as well as planned, we can tend to be unkind to ourselves or others which actually does not help anyone.
Whilst it is natural and normal to feel and be frustrated at times, to stay there serves no-one. So, by monitoring and watching how we talk about ourselves and others can ensure that we do not spiral into destructive negative thinking which can be healing for our business and ourselves.
Monitoring is helping us to stay positive and philosophical about whatever might be happening or has happened. It helps us not not take it too much to heart, or being overly critical of ourselves, so keeping us stuck instead of allowing ourselves to see what we can learn from a particular experience. Monitoring helps us the chance to allow ourselves to take the gold and move forward stronger and wiser.

4. ” I forgive everyone in my past for all perceived wrongs. I release them with love.” Louise Hay. By saying this powerful affirmation it allows us to be clear of any negativity which could have been attached to something that might have happened in the past in our business.
For example: when a deal went wrong, or a client turned out not to be the right match for us. In order to move forward positively and powerfully, instead of taking things personally or blaming ourselves, and staying stuck, in a victim cycle.
Forgiveness enables us to lovingly release them we allow ourselves to learn from these experiences and move forward powerfully so that we can make space for much better experiences, and much more positive experiences to come into our business and our lives.
Forgiving what has happened to us in the past in our business can have a remarkably healing impact upon our bottom line and all of sudden, the energy which will emit becomes much more positive and suddenly people who had been hesitant about working with us, are ready and it feels right. Forgiveness is my favourite tip from Louise, as for me it’s like a miraculous balm.
I’d love to know your thoughts about Louise Hay and how she might have impacted your business and your life.
